On 11 August the 2025 “APEC She-Power for a Sustainable Future” roundtable kicked off in Incheon, South Korea, zeroing in on how women are scaling sustainable development. Global female leaders swapped stories on the ways “she-power” is turbo-charging the digital economy and reinventing social-impact models. Speaking at the panel “Digital Empowerment for Women’s All-Round Growth,” Song Tingting—VP of Kuaishou Technology and Chair of the Kuaishou Charity Foundation—said short videos and live-streaming have become launchpads for women to start businesses and land jobs, closing the digital divide and super-charging women’s economic clout. She also highlighted the growing importance of women’s power in rural revitalization and broader socio-economic development.
