On May 31, China Youth Network (中國青年網), Kuaishous Big Data Research Institute (快手大數據研究院), Kuaishou Child Protection (快手護苗) and Kuaishou Charity (快手公益) jointly released the “2023 Kuaishou Minor Protection Report” (2023快手未成年人保護報告》). The report reveals that in recent years, under the guidance of relevant government departments, major short video platforms have been continuously exploring and improving mechanisms for protecting minors. Leveraging its capabilities in product development, technology and operations, Kuaishou has continued to upgrade its adolescent mode, and has made the first proposal in the industry to build a minor protection system on digital platforms.
