The 2nd China Digital Carbon Neutrality Summit (第二屆中國數字碳中和高峰論壇) with the theme of “Digital Leading Green Development” was held in Chengdu, Sichuan Province on February 25. During the summit, Xu Jingyun (徐靜芸), Vice President of Kuaishou Technology, announced the establishment of the Carbon Neutrality Professional Committee and Open Technology Alliance in 2022. Leveraging their digital technology expertise, Kuaishou aims to promote the accessibility of low-carbon patented technologies. First of all, Kuaishou plans to provide new solutions for low-carbon operations by releasing and sharing technologies. To date, Kuaishou has released eight patented technologies which have been applied to various technical areas such as data centers, cloud computing, and electricity. Secondly, Kuaishou will utilize its strengths to guide businesses towards low-carbon production, energy conservation and emission reduction while promoting a green, low-carbon lifestyle. Thirdly, Kuaishou aims to cultivate and promote green and low-carbon content more accurately and efficiently by investing resources and leveraging its platform and distribution advantages.
