On July 17, Kuaishou announced a partnership with China Media Group, whereby Kuaishou was awarded the rights for video on-demand and short video contents of the 19th Asian Games Hangzhou 2022, becoming the right-holding broadcaster for the Games. In addition, Kuaishou also reached a cooperation agreement with the Asian Games Hangzhou Organizing Committee to become the official short video sharing platform for the Games.
