Recently, Kuaishou released the 2024 Kuaishou Community Governance Report (as the "Report"). The Report comprehensively reviews and summarizes the governance measures and achievements of Kuaishou Community over the past year. By exploring multi-dimensional governance pathways and developing an integrated governance model, Kuaishou has continuously promoted the health of its platform ecosystem and the prosperity of its community. The Report indicates that in 2024, Kuaishou removed over 510,000 rumor videos, banned more than 30,000 rumor accounts, and marked 43,000 anti-rumor hashtag. Throughout the year, over 1,600 media and government accounts published more than 17,000 anti-rumor contents on the platform, with a total viewership reaching 1.77 billion. These efforts have effectively maintained the authenticity and health of community content. In 2024, Kuaishou has made significant strides in combating cyberbullying and maintaining a healthy online environment. It intercepted over 3.88 million instances of cyberbullying messages, removed more than 243,000 pieces of harmful content, and disciplined over 8,300 non-compliant accounts. Additionally, Kuaishou proactively sent out 6.55 million anti-cyberbullying alerts to users who might be vulnerable to online violence. During the special campaign titled "Clean and Bright—Rectification of Falsehoods and Vulgar Chaos in Live Streaming," the platform shut down 26,572 non-compliant live streams and disciplined 2,474 non-compliant accounts. In collaboration with law enforcement, Kuaishou assisted in solving 32 criminal cases related to black and gray industries and helped apprehend over 250 suspects.
