"Youth Healthy Internet Usage Public Welfare Initiative" Arrives in Ji'an, Jilin
China Youth Daily: "Youth Healthy Internet Usage Public Welfare Initiative" Arrives in Ji'an, Jilin.
What anti-cyberbullying slogans can be created using the city name "Ji'an"? On December 1, in a classroom at Ji'an No. 7 Middle School in Jilin Province, nearly 200 junior high school students offered answers such as "Gather goodwill's glimmer to secure a clear cyberspace" and "Collect the strength of youth to assure people's hearts"—phrases ingeniously incorporating the characters "Ji" (to gather/collect) and "An" (to secure/pacify) from "Ji'an." Themed "Don't Let the Web Block the Light in Your Eyes," this event marked a stop of the "Youth Healthy Internet Use Public Welfare Initiative," with Liu Qiang, an ideological and political education teacher from the High School Affiliated to Northeast Normal University, delivering the main lecture. Guided by the Publicity Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League of China and hosted by the Communist Youth League Jilin Provincial Committee, the event was organized by the Communist Youth League Ji'an Municipal Committee. Kuaishou served as the strategic partner that launched the initiative, aiming to inspire and assist youth through science popularization of internet safety knowledge.
